NPTM.CheckSelfTest Failed during Intel confidence test.

Hello,

 

I have one failure in my system when running the INTEL confidence test utility.

  • Specifically the NPTM.CheckSelfTest fails.
  • There are no other failures.

 

Failure details are

Self test result failed : expected 0x55h recv: 0x0280.

Device specific 'internal' failure.

Standard error code = 33701020

NPTM.CHECKSELFTEST FAILED.

 

Current bios version is

- 86B.01.02.0001.111120150000

 

I've installed an SP1200SPS motherboard with an Intel Zeon 1245 v5 cpu.

The system loads fine, and I can install windows (at least I can reach the installation screen).

 

Can I please check, do I need to return this motherboard for a replacement? or is this error related to some functionality not available on this specific model of the 1200 series?

I have a question about cloning raid to single hard disk.

Hello.

First, I am sorry for my poor English.

 

I have a server chassis sc5650.

I'd like to clone the data from the server to a normal single hard disk following steps below.

 

1. Taking out RAID from the work station one by one.

2. cloning the data to a single hard disk.

 

After following those steps,

Here is my question.

 

If I put the RAID in back in the work station same order as I take them out, does the work station work normally?

Compatibility Quadro K4200 and M4000 with S5520SCR

Hi,

I need to change my graphic card which was a Geforce GTX480 and is dead.

I would like to put a Quadro K4200 or M4000 and I don't know if it is compatible with this motherboard.

My provider asked Intel a week ago and no answer.

Can somebody help me, my station is out of order and I need to work.

Hello! I  can't run remote kvm on MFS5520VI Compute Module. I press the button "Apply", the window closes and nothing else happens.

I did buy 2 unit used motherboard S5000VSA with PBA D29137-714 and i try with E5450 SLBBM CPU and it come out with error Processor voltage mismatch, what i'm refered on the net, my motherboard are non-refresh board, so may i know what CPU and Spec Number are compatible with my motherboard ?

How to rre- enable onboard video on S2600IP4, after disabling it in bios?

whilst trying to figure out how to passthrough GPU  cards in esxi, one of ways suggested was to disable onboard video.

It did not make any difference and now I cannot get onboard video back.

 

can anyone point to me how to do so?

Unable to passthrough GPU (AMD 6450), Intel 2600IP4 motherboard, esxi 6.0u2

I have been unable to passthrough my GPU cards - AMD 6450, to any of the windows 8 VMs (install under EFI firmware) , under esxi 6.0u2. The VM simple unable to power up. If the card is removed, it boots normally. No issues with passthrough of USB 3.0 cards or HBAs such as the onboard storage module or a dell H310 card.

 

This AMD card is a known GPU that is passthrough capable.

 

Is there any bios settings, esxi settings or sequence that is needed to allow this to happen?

RT3WB080 Invalid field in CDB

I have an RT3WB080 installed in a personal server. On startup, the controller always logs "Information" for each drive "Invalid field in CDB". It only appears once per boot and all the drives are tested with no bad blocks.

 

What does this mean and how to correct it? This started appearing after I replaced failure-prone Seagate drives with new WD Red 3TB drives.

BAD LAN PORT IN SS4200-E

Guys,

 

I appreciate any help.  I've had this storage device going on three years now and it's worked

get so far.  Recently, a bad storm came thru my area and zapped my cable modem,

wireless router and the LAN port in my SS4200-E.  The modem and router were an

easy fix, but I'm unsure what I can do about the replacing the LAN port in my SS4200-E.

Has anyone dealt with this before?  Is there another way to access the data from the

(4) hard drives I have installed in this unit.

S2600CO hangs at 9ah, USB_START, what's wrong?

Hi folks, finally made the jump to LGA2011 (from LGA771!) and have an issue.


My board is an S2600CO, with two matched E5-2643 CPUs. I have 16gb Crucial (Micron) 4GB DDR3-1600 CT4G3ERSLS4160B.18FKD, 4 DIMMS, correctly populated. ECC and all 4 match

 

There are no drives or anything else hooked up. All power connectors are in and this whole thing has me scratching my head.

 

Onboard diagnostic LEDs say that I'm hanging at 9ah, USB_START, and all I have installed are a usb keyboard and mouse. I've tried without the K/M and nothing changes.

 

 

I've reset the CMOS per the procedure listed in the manual and nothing. It makes a lot of noise and looks pretty.

 

Where did I dun goof?

Hello,

 

Recently I purchased an Nvidia NVS 510 card but it seems is not working with PB S2600CW2, black screen appears at start with no information.

 

The card is working fine in other computers like DELL with the last firmware bios update.

 

Any information about this?

How to orginize hardware RAID 1 with two intel PCIe NVMe 2.0Tb DC P3600 / P3700 or P3608 for linux ?

I plan to use the platform R2208WTTYS in the creation of the database server with two Intel SSD DC S3710 Series 200GB in mirror for system, and two PCIe NVMe SSD for database.

 

With DC S3710 i don't have trouble because R2208WTTYS  contain Intel RSTe , but i don't understand how to make PCIe SSD work in array.

 

And yes  - i don't whant use MDADM.

I tried to update the frimware of this card, but now its undetectable.

I think the firmware was flushed and then the computer rebooted.

 

how do I go about to bring it back to a working state?

Сервер на основе SE7520BD2. Стоял просто как резерв, два дня назад отказался работать.

На сервере установлено было 4 Гб ОЗУ комплектами: 2 модуля Samsung RAM DDR400 M312L2920CZ0-CCC 1024Mb REG ECC LP PC3200R(M312L2920CZ0-CCC) (TP) и 2 модуля Kingston ValueRAM < KVR400D8R3A / 1G > DDR DIMM 1Gb < PC-3200 > ECC Registered+PLL, Low Profile.

Показывал 4 Гб общего объема. 2 дня назад перестал включаться, выдавал на старте 3 долгих сигнала.

Два модуля Samsung установленных отдельно показывают 1 Гб общей памяти.

Два модуля Kingston выдают ошибку 3 долгих сигнала.

 

Сегодня вместо 1 модуля Kingston поставил обычную память DDR-400 размером 1 Ггб.

Итого: Стоит 2 модуля Samsung, 1 модуль Kingston, 1 модуль обычной DDR-400

Общий объем 2 Ггб вместе со всеми 4 модулями.

 

Подсказать кто может правильную установку памяти?

 

И как точно определить вышел ли из строя модкль Kingston подозрительный?
