I am having an issue with my server's RAM. Out of seemingly nowhere 4 of the RAM slots are not working, slots E1, E2, F1, and F2. The error codes given in BIOS are the following, all of which just say "DIMM_xx disabled" or "DIMM_xx failed test/initialization" the manual: 854C, 852C, 854D, 852D, 854F, 852F, 8550, 8530
Out of the 16 slots of RAM, these 4 slots associated with CPU 2 are not working. The other 4 slots associated with CPU 2 are filled with the same kind of RAM and are working fine.
I have taken all of the sticks out and tried various combinations of them. I tried populating the 2 slots furthest from the sockets with the 2 alternate sets of the 4 sticks to see if one or the other was the problem. I tried cleaning the sockets and sticks as well.
What could be wrong and is there any way I can fix it?
Thanks!
